Explorers (2 – 3 years old)

Our Explorers share a very large room at Nurture with or Rangers offering a wide range of learning experiences for children aged from 2 – 3 years old including painting, small world, construction, exploration, books, musical instruments, singing and dancing. With an individual designed outdoor area allowing the Explorers to experience outdoor play throughout the day as and when they choose.

Nurture Staff are very passionate about their role and each child will have a key person that will liaise very closely with you to ensure that they are fully aware of your child’s routines and needs throughout their day. At the end of each day the staff will share information about your child’s day and in return we also ask you to share information about your child’s learning and development whilst at home.

It is highly important that your child feels happy and secure at Nurture. Prior to a child starting with us we offer two free introductory sessions, we will work closely with you and your child and we recognise that every child is an individual, should further settling in sessions be required.

Each child will have a Learning Journey on Tapestry this will follow their journey and progress throughout their time at Nurture, it will include photographs of your child’s work as well as play as well as written observations on your child’s progress. We also encourage parents and carers share in your child’s Learning at home by posting photographs and comments to their Tapestry account.
